Tactical Response Team

The Norfolk Police Division's Tactical Response Team (TRT) responds to possible tactical situations that occur within the city limits of Norfolk. Innocent persons are the primary concern in the resolutions of all tactical situations.

The Tactical Response Team (TRT) is utilized whenever appropriate, and necessary in resolving the following situations:

  • High Risk Search Warrants
  • High Risk Arrest Warrants
  • Barricaded Subjects
  • Suicidal Suspects
  • Hostage Situations
  • Terroristic Acts

Cpl. Fred Roskens Supervises the Tactical Response Team (TRT) with the assistance of Cpl. Mike O'Brien.
