Captain of Operations

Captain Hecker

STEVE HECKER  was promoted to the position of Captain in December of 1999. Capt. Hecker started on the Norfolk Police Division in February of 1976 as a uniform patrol officer. He has held positions of School Resource Officer, Criminal Investigator, Corporal, Sergeant, and is currently a Captain in charge of the Operations Bureau. He has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Organizational Management and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
