Swimming Pools

Memorial AquaVenture Water Park is set to open for the 2013 season on Memorial Day Weekend.  Please see the AquaVenture web page for more details.  Liberty Bell Pool is slated to open approximately June 15.

Sign-up for swimming lessons will begin Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Memorial AquaVenture Water Park located at 715 S.1st Street. You may register for up to two sessions for each child at this time.

Cost of each session is $30 per student and is to be paid when registering. Students must be age 3 and up. There will be absolutely no early registrations. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday for two weeks with Fridays reserved for make-up days in case of inclement weather.

Private Lessons are available at $12.00 per 1/2 hour session.  Please contact AquaVenture at 844-2270 after May 27 for details.

AquaVenture Water Park is located at 715 S. 1st Street. Liberty Bell Pool is located at 700 Georgia Avenue.

Girl's Softball            Enrollment Form            Information Sheet

Sign-up for City Recreation Girl's Softball, ages 7-14 begins May 1 through May 10, 2013.  Click on the links above for the Enrollment form and Information sheet.  Each of these are also available at the Recreation Office at 309 N 5th Street on May 1.  Please be sure to print off the Information Sheet as it gives many details about the program.

Cost of the program will be $15.00 per participant which must be paid at the time of registration.  Please be sure to register your child(ren) during the designated sign-up time.  Anyone registering after May 10 will be charged $18.00.  Registrations and payments must be dropped off or mailed to the Recreation Office at 309 N 5th Street.

All girls will need to pick-up their t-shirt and schedule on Thursday, May 23 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the City Auditorium, 127 North 1st Street.

The girls will play their games at the Ta-Ha-Zouka Park fields on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings with Thursday mornings used for make-up games.

Men's Basketball

This program starts in November and runs into February/March. Games are played in the City auditorium. Trophies are awarded at the end of the season. There is a $255 team fee for participation.

Women's Volleyball

This program starts in late October and runs through January. Games are played in the City Auditorium. Trophies are awarded at the end of the season. There is a $160 team fee for participation.

Coed Volleyball

This program starts in February and runs through March. Games are played in the City auditorium. Trophies are awarded at the end of the season. There is a $160 team fee for participation.

Men's Flag Football

This program begins in early September and runs into November. Games are played on Ta-Ha-Zouka Park ballfields #4 & #5. Trophies are awarded at the end of the season. There is a $220 team fee for participation.
