Campground
The TaHaZouka Park campground is located in a scenic and heavily
shaded area between the Elkhorn River and a large lagoon. The
campground is open from April 15 to October 15 and can accommodate
from large campers with slideouts to primitive campers and tents.
In the off-season, although the showers and restrooms are not open,
campers may park outside of the campground along the road and plug
into the power pedestals at a reduced rate.
In Season rates are $6.00 a night
(without electrical hookup) and $9.00 a
night (with electrical hookup).
Off Season rates are $6.00 a night for
electrical hookup outside of campground, on a limited basis.
There is a seven night maximum stay limit and no reservations are
taken. Campers may ask the Park Superintendent for a seven night
extension if the need arises. Payment is handled by the use of
an Iron Ranger at the campground entrance. Water is available
but there are no water or sewer hookups. Amenities include: 22 power
pedestals (110/220 volt) with dual hookups if needed, men's and
women's restrooms with showers, picnic tables, barbeque grills and a
dump station.
