Mike has been at the Norfolk Public Library since July of 2009.   He earned a master's degree in Public Administration in 2009 and a master's degree in Library Science in 2012.  He says his favorite part of working in the library is interacting with patrons. When he has time for personal reading he prefers non-fiction.

When he is not at work, Mike tries to spend as much time in the great outdoors as possible.  He enjoys running and riding his bike on the Cowboy Trail with his wife Sarah.  He is also an avid fisherman and hunter.  He has two dogs (a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Raj and a mixed breed named Simon) that he takes with him everywhere.

Lenaya

Lenaya has worked for the Library since April, 2009 but has been with the City of Norfolk since the summer of 1991.  During her time with the City, Lenaya has worked as a police officer, a secretary at the Fire Division, and in the Records Division for the Police Division.  In her continuing pursuit to see if she can work at every division within the City, she currently is coordinating the Outreach program for the Library, delivering books to those that are homebound, and as a legal assistant at the City Attorney's Office.  In her free time, Lenaya enjoys attending her kids' activities....which, with 4 kids, pretty much consumes any free time she might ever have!

If you are interested in more information regarding the Library's Outreach Program, please give Lenaya a call at 402-844-2100!

Marge

Marge, Library Technician

Marge joined the Norfolk Public Library staff in June of 1990 as a cataloger.  She is originally from Madison, Nebraska, but has lived in Norfolk since 1953.  She is a dog lover and the proud (most of the time!) owner of a Dandie Dinmont Terrier.   She loves to read and especially enjoys mysteries and psychological thrillers.
