Library Renovation & Expansion Update

Construction has begun!  Items in the library have been rearranged to fit into a temporarily smaller space.  A temporary wall is being built inside the current building so that demolition can begin on the north side of the building.  Please excuse the noise.  If you are looking for a quieter time to visit, please come in the evenings.

A number of trees had to be removed to prepare for construction.  Nearly all of the trees that were removed were Ash Trees that would have been taken down and replaced over the next 5-10 years due to the Emerald Ash Borer.  We will replant trees and other landscaping when the construction is finished.
