Programs This Week: July 6 - 11

Sign Up for Summer Reading!  The program runs through July 31st and is open to all ages. 

Monday at 2pm - Quiz Bowl! - for ages 8-12 - Test your knowledge in this fun quiz game!  No registration needed.

Wednesday at 10am - Signing Lapsit - For infants up through age 2 - Learn baby sign language to help you communicate with your baby and stimulate their language development! 

Wednesday at 1:30 - Kids Movies @ the Library - This week's feature is "Transformers: Rescue Bots." (PG)

Wednesday at 6:30pm - America's Answer to the Beatles: Acid Rock - Musicians who came to prominence in San Francisco, including Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and The Grateful Dead, will be featured in this visual and musical presentation that is guaranteed to be groovy! Thank you to Humanities Nebraska who provides major funding for this program.

Thursday at 1:30pm and Friday at 10:30am - Super Reader Storytime - for ages 3-8 - Stimulate summer learning by engaging with stories, songs, poems and more fun literacy-developing activities.

Thursday at 6:30pm - Superheroes of Science presented by Edgerton Explorit Center - This exciting hands-on science show is fun for the whole family!

Saturday at 10am - Signing Lapsit - For infants up through age 2 - Learn baby sign language to help you communicate with your baby and stimulate their language development! 

Saturday at 10:30am - Signing Storytime - for ages 3-8 - Hear some great stories and sing songs while learning basic signs to stimulate learning through different senses.

We have over 55,000 ebooks you can read online or download through Ebsco Ebooks and OverDrive.

Last year, there were over 147,000 visits to the library.  That means that an average of 45 people visit the library each hour that we're open.
