New Library Catalog - It's here! A NEW way to find what you're looking for.  Check out the library's new catalog!  Not sure how to use it?  Take a look at some tips and tricks to get the most out of the convenient features our new catalog - including paying your fines online!

Library Renovation and Expansion Update

NEW Digital Magazines! Access over 120 digital magazines you can read online or download through the "Zinio for Libraries" app.  Use your library card number to log in, then create a free account, and you're ready to read the entertainment, sports, news, and family magazines you love!  Learn more...

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)  - NaNoWriMo is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing.  On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59pm on November 30.  This is a great challenge for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel! 
The Library will be hosting drop-in writing events on November 6, 12, 18 and 24 and a wrap-up celebration for all participants on December 1.  Click here for complete details and visit for extra support and cool tools!

Literary Tree Decorating Contest - Decorate an artificial tree to celebrate your favorite book(s), character(s), or author!  Bring entries in between November 30 and December 3.  Winners will be announced Dec. 21!  Click here for complete contest rules and entry form!


Programs This Week: November 23-28

Come Write In - Tuesday from 11am-1pm - All area writers can join us for this drop-in, come-when-you-can gathering where you can meet with other area writers, whether you’re participating in NaNoWriMo or not, and spend some time writing together.

Tuesday at 6:30pm - This month's book is The Long Way Home by Louise Penny.

Wednesday 2:30pm - This week's feature is the 2015 adventure film "Jurassic World" featuring Chris Pratt (PG-13).

- Wednesday at 10am -
For infants up through age 2 - Join us for short stories, rhymes and songs that will encourage language development in your little ones and give you a chance to meet others with young children.

The Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Needles, Hooks & Books - Saturday at 2:30pm - Join us for this informal time to work on projects, share skills, and meet others interested in needle arts. Newcomers always welcome.
