Programs This Week: Oct. 20-25

Tuesday at 7pm - Temporary Sales Tax Town Hall - The public is invited to this Town Hall meeting to ask questions and talk to City Staff and elected officials about the temporary half-cent sales tax increase that will be on the November 4 ballot.

Wednesday and Saturday at 10am - Lapsit - for babies up through age 2 and their caregiver- A perfect introduction to the library for your little one, join us for songs, stories and get to know others with young children.

Thursday at 1:30, Friday at 10:30, and Saturday at 10:30 - Storytime - for ages 3 - 8 - A fun combination of literature experiences—books, songs, Spanish language experiences, storytelling, finger plays, poems, puppets & MORE!  Parents encouraged to attend with their child.

Thursday at 6:30pm - Reader's Theater Rehearsal - for youth ages 9-14 with an interest in theater and performing.  See Karen at the Youth Services desk for details.

We have over 75,000 books, 5700 CDs & Audiobooks, 2800 DVDs, and 230 video games you can check out.

We have over 55,000 ebooks you can read online or download through Ebsco Ebooks and OverDrive.

Last year, there were over 148,000 visits to the library.  That means that an average of 47 people visit the library each hour that we're open.
