Programs This Week: Oct. 27 - Nov. 1

Monday at 4pm - Golden Sower Book Club - for ages 8-12 - This month's book is Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFler.  Winners from the Three-Minute Fiction contest will also be announced!  See the Youth Services Desk for more information.

Tuesday at 6:30pm - Tuesday Night Book Discussion Group - This month's book is George Washington's Secret Six: The Spy Ring that Saved the American Revolution by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger.

Wednesday at 10am - Wednesday Morning Book Discussion Group - This month's book is Johnny Carson by Henry Bushkin. 

Wednesday and Saturday at 10am - Lapsit - for babies up through age 2 and their caregiver- A perfect introduction to the library for your little one, join us for songs, stories and get to know others with young children.

Thursday at 1:30, Friday at 10:30, and Saturday at 10:30 - Storytime - for ages 3 - 8 - A fun combination of literature experiences—books, songs, Spanish language experiences, storytelling, finger plays, poems, puppets & MORE!  Parents encouraged to attend with their child.

Thursday at 6:30pm - 20's and 30's Book Club - This month's book is Harbor by John Ajvide Lindqvist. 


Saturday at 2pm - Needles, Hooks & Books - for needle crafters of all ages - Join us for this informal time to work on a project, share skills, talk about books, and meet others interested in needle arts.  Newcomers always welcome!

We have over 75,000 books, 5700 CDs & Audiobooks, 2800 DVDs, and 230 video games you can check out.

We have over 55,000 ebooks you can read online or download through Ebsco Ebooks and OverDrive.

Last year, there were over 148,000 visits to the library.  That means that an average of 47 people visit the library each hour that we're open.
