The Royal Oaks Rent-to-Own Tax Credit development is located at Woodland Park, East of the grade school and near the water tower on Meadow Lane, Englewood and Forest Drive. This development includes 14 ranch style homes, all of which are 4 bedroom, 2 bath, and 2 car garages. Persons interested in this development must be income eligible, interested in becoming a homeowner, complete a REACH class regarding homeownership, develop and follow a homeownership plan with goals, and live in the home for a minimum of one year before a homeownership opportunity can be available. No pets and no smoking allowed.

Housing Staff are taking names for the 14 rent-to-own tax credit homes

These homes are leased at reduced rents to income eligible families through the low income housing tax credit program.
Housing Choice Voucher assistance is accepted in these homes. 
Tenants are responsible for all utilities, as well as caring for the yard, lawn and snow removal.
Periodic meetings with the family to train on the responsibilities of homeownership will be a required component of the lease.
