Landscape Master Plan
The City of Norfolk initiated the
Landscape Master Plan study to analyze existing landscaping and to
prepare recommendations for approximately 15 miles of highly
traveled roadways in the community. The goals of the study
included improving the appearance of streets, calming or slowing
traffic, and promoting economic development.
Initially, the Norfolk Landscape Master
Plan was presented to the Mayor and City Council at their May 11,
2009 work session. The Mayor and Council are currently
reviewing the plan and are seeking comments from the public.
Please provide any comments to the following email:
ksvitak@ci.norfolk.ne.us.
They will be forwarded to the elected officials and appropriate
staff. The
Mayor and Council plan to review the plan through the month of June,
2009.
