One and Six Year Street Improvement Plan
Safe and efficient
transportation over public roads is a matter of major importance to
all citizens. The Nebraska Department of Roads requires each
county and municipality to develop and file with the Board of Public
Roads Classifications and Standards a long-range, Six-Year Plan of
highway, road and street improvements based on priority of needs and
calculated to contribute to the orderly development of an integrated
statewide system of highways, roads and streets. This report
is due annually by March 1st.
Planning Commission approved the One and Six Year Street Improvement Plan at
their February 7, 2012 meeting. Mayor and City Council
approved the 2012-2017 One and Six Year Street Improvement Plan at
their February 21, 2012 City Council meeting. The Plan is due to
the Nebraska Department of Roads by March 1, 2012.
The following is a list of
proposed street improvement projects planned for the next six years.
This sheet provides a brief description of project, estimated cost
and projected funding year.
