Sec. 24-278.† Obstructions to driverís view.

 

(a)†† No person shall drive a motor vehicle when it is so loaded, or when there is in the front seat such a number of persons, exceeding three (3), as to obstruct the view of the driver to the front or sides of the vehicle or to interfere with the driverís control over the driving mechanism of such vehicle.

 

(b)†† No passenger in a vehicle shall ride in such a position as to interfere with the driverís view ahead or to the sides or to interfere with the driverís control over the driving mechanism of such vehicle.† Source:††Code 1962, ß 10-10-8)

 

(c)†† No person shall drive a motor vehicle upon the streets, roadways and alleys of the city with any sign, poster, snow, ice or other nontransparent material upon the front windshield, side wings, side or rear windows of such motor vehicle other than a certificate or other paper required to be so displayed by law.†
