Sign Maintenance and Installation

Stop signs are the highest priority. Please report any stop sign which is bent, down or missing. There are approximately 444 stop signs in the city. Yield signs number 29. Stop signs need to be seen at night. If you see one which is hard to see, please notify the Street Division.

Street name signs are not as vital for safety, but are important to visitors and the traveling public. If you wish to have a street name sign replaced or a new one installed, please tell us the name or location. We have 762 street name sign locations. The original sign cost and installation is borne by the subdivision developer. Replacement is the city's obligation. There are many more signs, to include speed limit, no parking, school crossings and miscellaneous messages.
